Quan Chi brings the pain in Mortal Kombat X!
Everything I've seen of Mortal Kombat X seems to confirms just how much more badass this installment is going to be than its predecessors. The combat has never looked so insane. The combos and variations flow so well from one chain to another.
When you have a character like sorcerer Quan Chi, who can throw spells at you while also kicking you in the face, these combos become even more interesting. Especially when he's crushing your skull with...two OTHER skulls.

Quan Chi's use of portals makes for pretty much the most devastating attack chains I've seen in the game so far. I have a feeling that he'll be super annoying to fight, so I'll make sure to pick him before my friends do.
