PC and Mac players now have access to the new non-subscription TES: Online, and here's the new trailer...
NewsThe Elder Scrolls Online has now ditched its initial subscription model, as Tamriel Unlimited has gone live for PC and Mac. This does away with the subscription in favor of an optional, premium membership, ESO Plus. If you don't want this, however, you can play the game with no added charges.
Along with the new pricing model comes a host of new features, including a selection of veteran content, such as new high level areas, missions, and an arena, and there's the TES staple of a justice system, in which you can flaunt the law and become a criminal, hunted by guards. Dungeon scaling and daily challenges are also added.
There's a layer of improved customization, such as clothing dye, and tweaks to the advancement system, with faster leveling and more flexible character development. Bethesda has also thrown in better spam and bot detection to make the game more enjoyable.
It's a decent amount of new content, and it's available now. Xbox One and PlayStation 4 owners will also get the same content when The Elder Scroll Online: Tamriel Unlimited releases on June 9.
