
The remaster of Dark Souls II is available now, and here's the launch trailer...
NewsAlthough most will still be ploughing their way through Bloodborne, From Software's most recent release, the Dark Souls faithful will be happy to know that the remaster of Dark Souls II, Scholar of the First Sin is now available on PC, with the console release approaching on April 7.
To celebrate this, Namco Bandai has released a new launch trailer, showing the new paint job, higher resolution visuals, and host of DLC, which is now part of the main package.
Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin includes a remastered edition of the game, as well as all three DLC additions, Crown of the Sunken King, Crown of the Old Iron King, and Crown of the Ivory King.
Other tweaks above and beyond the improved visuals and better frame rate include new enemy placement, improved online multiplayer, and the new Forlorn invader. All of this amounts to what From Software is calling the definitive edition of the game.
