Here are the first details on Visceral's Star Wars game, which is being helmed by Uncharted's Amy Hennig...
NewsWe don't know too much about Visceral Games' upcoming Star Warsgame except that ex-Naughty Dog creative director Amy Hennig helming the project, but that hasn't stopped the rumor mill from spinning its wheels. As far back as I can remember, the internet has claimed that this mystery title will be similar (if not a revival) of the ill-fated Star Wars 1313.
Thanks to a panel of Metrocon, there might finally be some truth to back up that rumor. Nolan North, the voice of Uncharted's Nathan Drake, talked a bit about Visceral's game and its similarities to both 1313 and the Unchartedseries:
On Uncharted similarities: "If you're a big fan of Amy Hennig and her style of story, she's gone to EA and is going to reboot a brand new Star Wars franchise in the style of Uncharted. I happen to know a lot about it and it's going to be awesome."
On 1313 similarities, North said that the game is "different," but "along the same lines."
That's not too much more to go on, but it at least gives a little bit of an idea of how the game might play. This is almost totally a confirmation that the game is a third-person action-adventure. But now we're just assuming, aren't we?
