Hellblade's latest trailer gives us another glimpse of the nightmare world of Celtic warrior Senua.
Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice is the latest game from Ninja Theory, the developer behind DmC: Devil May Cry and Heavenly Sword, and it presents nightmarish world of Vikings and Celtic warriors. At the center is Senua, a Celtic woman who must travel through the underworld to find someone she loves.
The game's new trailer, which debuted at GDC 2016, gives us a glimpse of the beginning of this journey:
No release date has been set for Hellblade, but it's due out sometime in 2016.
Original Story 06.11.15:
After its Gamescom reveal last year, we finally hear from Ninja Theory about their new game, Hellblade, again. This game looks very dark, indeed.
You play as Senua, a Celtic warrior left traumatized by a Viking attack that killed her people and those she loved. Senua experiences psychosis, including hallucinations and delusions, as well as suffering from anxiety and depression. All while embarking on a long journey into the fires of Hell.
And from the looks of it, I would call it a mix between Skyrimand Tomb Raider. See for yourself:
We'll undoubtedly learn a lot more about Hellblade at next week's E3 Playstation conference. Oh, yeah, this game is coming to PS4 and PC.
