The existence of a BioShock compilation for current systems appears to have been leaked by a Taiwanese games rating site...
Ken Levine may not be returning to the BioShockuniverse for the foreseeable future, but that doesn't mean his survival horror shooter series will quietly vanish into history. According to a post found on a games rating site in Taiwan, the BioShockgames could be about to make their debut on current-gen systems in a forthcoming compilation.
Although the post, which you can see here, doesn't detail precisely what's in BioShock: The Collection, the cover artwork on the site pretty much confirms that we'll be getting BioShockand its sequel as well as BioShock Infinite - see how the design takes in Rapture beneath the sea as well as Columbia floating high up in the clouds? It isn't too much of a stretch to assume the set will also include the various chunks of DLC which also came with those games, such as BioShock Infinite's Burial At Seamissions.
Of course, this is far from an official confirmation, so we'll have to sound a note of caution until then. But the fact that rumors of a BioShock collection have circulated in the past seems to rule out the possibility of a mistake or hoax.
More news on this as it comes in.
