Pokemon Sun and Moon Confirmed

Nintendo has confirmed that Pokemon Sun and Moon are the next two big Pokemon adventures. The games will arrive in Holiday 2016 for 3DS. No further details were revealed.

The existence of the games leaked in February when logos and trademarks were discovered on a European trademark database. Nintendo then confirmed the news in a Pokemon-centric Nintendo Direct.

Sun and Moon are the first main Pokemon games since 2013's X and Y, which launched for the 3DS. Nintendo is also releasing the original three Pokemon games, RedBlue, and Yellow, on its Virtual Console this weekend for play on the 3DS. Pokemon you capture in those games will be fully transferrable into Sun and Moon

Although we don't know all of the Pokemon that will appear in the new games, Japanese magazine CoroCoro revealed the 722nd Pokemon, Magiana. This new legendary Pokemon will first appear in the movie Pokemon the Movie: X Y & Z - Volcanion and the Tricky Magiana, which will be out in Japan in July. The magazine revealed that Magiana was created by man and that it's 500-years-old. Here's a picture of the new Pokemon:
