You don't have to look too hard to spot the similarities.

We still don't know much official information about the Nintendo NX, but that hasn't stopped one ambitious Chinese technology company from producing a tablet that mimics the NX's biggest alleged features.
The Morphus X300 comes to us courtesy of our good friends at Aikun and is officially branded as a gaming tablet. It utilizes Android OS, has an 8.0-megapixel camera, is fully equipped with Bluetooth capabilities, and even sports and HDMI out port. In fact, the Morphus X300 is a pretty standard modern gaming tablet from a specs standpoint in many ways.
The way in which this device is most certainly remarkable, however, is its physical design. With its dual 2.4 Ghz wireless controllers mounted to the side of the tablet screen and its ability to hook up to a television or be used as a mobile device, the Morphus X300 sure does look a lot like those supposed patent blueprints of the Nintendo NX that leaked a couple of months ago.
While we would never directly accuse a Chinese technology company of intentionally replicating a foreign device and repackaging it to suit their own purposes (because that never happens), you really can't ignore how many similarities the Morphus X300 shares with the NX design. It's also somewhat troublesome that the device was initially unveiled on Indiegogo back in June and failed to meet its crowdfunding goal. Despite this, you are still able to purchase one on the manufacturer's website for $300.
To be perfectly fair, this isn't the first tablet of this design even if it is the gaming tablet that comes closest to replicating the NX blueprints. So far as potential knock-offs go, though, you really do have to admire the amount of work that went into this particular device as it does do a pretty amazing job of packing in several major gaming tablet features into a highly familiar design.
