Daylight has a release date, and you’ll be able to navigate the dark and haunted hospital halls this April.
Last week we learned the release date for one of 2014’s most anticipated horror games, The Evil Within from Tango Gameworks and Bethesda, which is scratching its way into the gaming sphere this August. Well today, we finally got confirmation on when another big horror title will be making us scream: the chilling Daylightfrom Zombie Studios. And the good news is that it’s only a few short months away!
In a new gameplay video over on IGN, studio director Jared Gerritzen let word slip that Daylightwould be seeing an April release date on PS4 and PC platforms. The game in question is a first-person survival horror title in which the player must use the light of their in-game cell phone to navigate a dark and horrific hospital (which also just so happens to be haunted).
While no price point has been given out just yet, if we’re lucky, then Daylightwill follow in the footsteps of Outlastand debut for free on PS4 for all PlayStation Plus users. But it looks like we’re going to have to wait for that April release date to get closer before we know for sure. In the meantime, just make sure you download that flashlight app on your smartphone and keep that battery fully charged!
