Sinestro is the new champion, ready to bring the pain in Infinite Crisis!
UPDATE: Sinestro is the new champion joining the fight in Infinite Crisis. This is a very good addition to a roster that is saturated with heroes. We definitely need some more villains.
Sinestro is a blaster and will arrive in two weeks. In search of perfect order and vengeance upon his enemies, Sinestro’s power is fueled by fear. As a Blaster, Sinestro eliminates his enemies by spreading silence and fear to cull the weak. His coolest ability is Fear Incarnate, which enables Sinestro to launch the fear-based entity Parallax at his enemies. This escalated quickly...

Over the last decade, Sinestro evolved from a rather obvious Green Lantern villain into a formidabble cosmic foe, in no small part due to the harvested power of Parallax, which powers the yellow energy of his ring.
In the comics, the power of Parallax eventually led to Sinestro forming his own Sinestro Corps to match the Green Lantern Corps. The Sinestro Corps rings seek out characters capable of instilling great fear in others...and in some cases, possess them. While this probably won't make its way into the game, we'd love to see other Sinestro Corps members, or Sinestro Corps skins for current characters appear down the line.
ORIGINAL STORY: Infinite Crisis is one of my favorite games right now. With it's fast-paced gameplay, superhero action, and hours of tactical fun, Infinite Crisis is the MOBA I've been waiting for. Last week, Turbine Inc. added Blue Beetle to the mix, and it was a game changer. His marksman and assassin skills can turn the tide at any moment.
Earlier this week, Turbine teased that a new champion (what they call playable characters) would be unveiled this week. Well, they'll be livestreaming the game today at 1pm ET, and said that viewers would get a sneak peek of the next champion.
That should make you very excited. I'm hoping for Sinestro or Deathstroke.
