Sonic the Hedgehog has new games coming to the Wii U and 3DS. Watch the trailers for the new Sonic Boom games here.
Sonic Boom is the name of the game at Sega this fall. Sonic the Hedgehog is getting a brand new animated series with that name and two different games for the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS, both of which will operate within the continuity of the new Sonic Boomanimated series. In addition to the usual Sonic crew, these games also introduce Sticks, a new playable character.
Check out the trailers for Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric for the Wii U and Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal (which Sega is quick to point out is still only a working title) for the 3DS and then come back for more details.
First up, Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric for the Wii U. This one focuses a little more on the unique abilities of each playable character.
And here's Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystalfor the 3DS, which definitely has lots of the classic 2D Sonic elements, but with some fun new twists.
Check out some more character designs for the Sonic Boom games, too!
