Gamescom 2014 saw some detailed gameplay footage for the Xbox One exclusive, Quantum Break, and here it is...
Remedy Entertainment's Xbox One exclusive, Quantum Break, found its way on to our top 25 upcoming games of 2015 list, and for good reason, as it looks great, even if actual gameplay details were pretty scarce for a good while. Well, that's not the case any more, and below you'll see a sixteen minute long gameplay demo that shows just how the game will play.
Similar in many ways to Remedy's breakout hit, Max Payne,Quantum Breakwill feature fast-paced cover-based combat, but it'll mix this with a host of time-bending powers and abilities that'll set the game apart from other, similar titles.
As Jack Joyce, who's exposed to a time-based experiment that goes horribly wrong, you'll be able to control time in numerous ways, from moving so fast people are unable to see you, to freezing bullets in mid air. This will lend itself to the cover-focused gunplay, as you can see in the demo below, as Jack effortlessly flanks and takes down multiple enemies, who are unable to react fast enough to stop him.
Visually gorgeous, and boasting some truly impressive effects, Quantum Break may well be one of the Xbox One's best titles of 2015. Here's hoping it lives up to its potential.
